Here's a screen capture from the new chromedecay YouTube video demonstrating a technique for using Ableton Live's Impulse drum machine to program melodic or pad sounds in a more chopped-up way.
This track is called "efficient movement", and is part of the chromedecay release by Bill Van Loo called "Ypsilanti By Night".

I may have missed the focus, but I didn't miss the moment. 🙏 This was taken with my Rokinon 14mm 2.8, which doesn't talk to my camera at all (fully manual). It's fun because the viewfinder/screen isn't accurately shown, and I can't determine focus other than using the manual control on the lens itself- and looking through the viewfinder (without the glowing AF points!) You can't zoom digitally to check, and absolutely no autofocus/af point readings whatsoever. I get so excited when I nail the focus (you'll see an example later this week!) I didn't get a chance to talk to the pilot, but this appeared to be a P-51 Mustang (D?) in Nazi markings. The Germans had captured and flown a few; presumably this is modeled after one of those.
I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.
I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music
So these select captures showcase the broad perspective and spectrum.

I was trying to capture this image in direct sunlight but since the day was partially cloudy (as can be seen by the reflection in the bus windshield) the image was captured in diffuse light. The Auto 1 WB again provided the truest representation of the colors of the busses. Note that the bus on the left appears slightly "yellower" than the other. It was! Color difference has nothing to do with lighting, angle or settings.
