Captured this image on Sunday afternoon about 40 minutes before sunset on my first pelagic trip of the year. The sheer amount of birds was the most I've ever seen on one of these trips, with roughly several thousand great shearwaters alone surrounding the boat for almost 2 hours. I only saw a few individuals of this species amongst the many greats, and it was a fun challenge trying to track them through the enormous flock.

Captured under the full moon on the beach front in Poole(UK) my home town. Light HDR processing on this capture. Many thanks for looking. Look,s like my run on Explore has ended for now which was a shame as i would of liked this one to made it. I be back on there again in 6-8 weeks from now.

Pictured here is a shot of the South Foreland Lighthouse, which is perched upon the white cliffs of Dover. I typically can't go anywhere without finding a lighthouse to shoot, so here is my latest entry...
I actually would've loved the opportunity to capture this light during golden hour, but I was only there for a few hours in the mid-afternoon. That said, it was still an incredible place to photograph, as both the light and the white cliffs were incredible to see in person.
Just a little bit about the location: The South Foreland lighthouse was constructed back in 1793, and first lit in 1843. The light has some history associated with it, as this was the site used by Guglielmo Marconi during his experiments with wireless radio transmissions (back in 1898). Today the lighthouse is still open to visitors (but not car traffic), and is a neighbor to the nearby Dover Castle. *
