he stopped dead in his tracks when he came around this bend and saw the light...he was taking pictures and when he realized he was in my photos, he proceeded to give me instructions on how to capture him in a sillhouette, it didn't quite work out, but i thanked him for the mini-lesson anyway...

Actually it's a captured, then re-captured, then un-captured, then re-captured again hideout.
My plan is to build three separate towers, one in classic castle, one in classic town (apartment block or hospital) and the last in classic space (observatory). And then display them side by side. Not sure how committed I am to the whole thing but I am keen to start the town one next.

I originally posted this a couple of years ago or so, but decided to rework it and repost it. I like this version much better than the original.

This was captured by my wife using a Nikon D80. As she was bored shooting the horse shoe bend, she turned her camera towards me and captured me shooting the bend.
I found this shot interesting as it gives a perspective of the depth of the canyon.
