Bears Of North America.. Black Brown White it doesn't matter -- and I understand that these Bears would likely have been destroyed if it hadn't been for the Calgary Zoo taking them in...

I watched two these guys for a good half our or so.. all the one did was pace and the other one slept.

I got up close to the side of the enclosure that the one that was pacing was nearest too; he stopped pacing for a second to stare at me . . . then he turned around and quietly continued on his well worn out path of frustration/boredom/hatred/sadness. He looked lost to me.

Now, I've worked my fair share of months in the British Columbia "bush", planting trees, where these wonderful creatures call home. I have even seen a few up close.. actually,.. way too close for comfort.

In the Canadian wild the bear is King. He owns the land and you don't cross him. So what does a King become when he is thrown into a cage and is gawked at by the people?

Like I said, I understand our ("our" being humankind) good intentions of saving him from an untimely death due to the fact that we invaded his territory.. but is being locked up actually that much better?

I know a lot of people who would say no...

Après les événements de Totally Spies épisode 157 Pandapocalypse dans laquelle Samantha, Alexandra, Clover et Britney ont déménagé de l'université de Mali-U pour s'installer à Singapour, le quatuor des spies s'est installé dans une villa situé dans un quartier très luxueux payé par le WOOHP World à l'AIYA.

Britney a été intégrée définitivement en tant que 4e spy suite à une recommandation de la fille de Jerry ayant considéré que son père avait fait une erreur de la muter en Australie à la fin de l'épisode 117 L'hôtel des abysses alors qu'elle était un excellent complément à l'équipe durant cette partie de la saison 5.

Samantha proposa une séance de bondage amicale à ses amies où chaque sera ligotée/bâillonnée individuellement dans une section de la villa et disposera de 30 minutes pour se libérer sans utiliser un gadget pour couper les cordes, elles ont accepté et Alexandra fut la première à se porter volontaire et demanda à être assise sur l'un des fauteuils du salon pour être confortablement installée.

Sportfiskarna Väst participate in the culture festival by letting people have a go at fishing in Vallgraven. When they asked me if I'd like to try, I explained that I'd rather get an opportunity to take some fish photos. Caught fish was thrown back into the water, but they had a few kept temporarily in a net. Here it is coming up, for the little perch to be collected.

This is the chess set that took Marc about a year to whittle. After he finished it in December 2005, we played marathon games, with Tom usually emerging victorious. The board was made out of an old cardboard box and we signed the bottom with our names and the message “Three Americans taken hostage February 13, 2003. Still alive to December 2005.”

It's been a while, uni has been busy and my laptop broke. I have a little netbook but it's no good for editing. Anyhow here's something I took at the zoo last month. I hope everyone has a nice Christmas :)
