Common along tropical and subtropical shores, the Royal Tern is a characteristic sight along the Gulf Coast and southern Atlantic Coast. It was a joy to see these two together at Pine Island Beach, Weeki Wachee, Florida.

Hey everyone-
Now that I’m getting back in the swing of things, I’m finding myself missing some of the aftermarket stuff I sold a few years ago. If anyone has any WWI MMCB that they’re willing to part with, shoot me a message and we’ll work something out.
No idea what is going on here, almost like one owner told the other they were tearing their half the building down. Fascinating find in Kershaw, South Carolina.
Two of the younger dancers at todays Vaisakhi Mela Festival (Sikh New Year) in Las Vegas. I'd love to know what the kid on the right is thinking.
My husband and I walked along the lower prom and could see this young lady eating some food. When we went up to the upper promenade I couldn't resist taking this shot of the opportunist gull waiting in the wings.
I moved on before the action unfolded.

Two captions come to mind when I look at this photo: “Come on, give us a Hug!” and “Would you like to buy a watch?” If you have any others, I’d love to hear them. #OnThisDay, January 29, 2017, rain was trickling lightly over the wetlands of Tarangire. What this African Openbill is actually doing, most likely, is attempting to dry its features. Whatever the reason, this large bird is beautifully demonstrating the different wing feathers. The flight feathers are made up of the Tertials, Secondaries and Primaries. The smaller upper feathers are the coverts and alula. See my archived Instagram story “Natural History” for the delineation of each section as demonstrated by a fledgling peregrine falcon. @terifranzenphotography
Still trying to think of a good caption for this interaction between a Cardinal and Song Sparrow - "A Peck On The Cheek?" - "Kissed By A Cardinal?" - other suggestions?
Not a great shot but I enjoyed both the moment and the expressions on each rats faces. The larger rat has since become a snack for the resident fox.
