Die "Cap San Diego" ist das größte, fahrtüchtige Museums-Frachtschiff der Welt. Sie ist das letzte noch erhaltene Schiff der Cap-San-Serie, die 1961 und 1962 für die Reederei Hamburg Süd gebaut wurden. Bis Ende 1981 sind die Cap-San-Frachter überwiegend nach Südamerika gefahren und wurden als "Weiße Schwäne des Südatlantiks" bezeichnet. Seit 1988 ist die "Cap San Diego" ein Museums- und Hotelschiff, das seinen Liegeplatz an der Überseebrücke in Hamburg hat.

"Cap San Diego" is the biggest, seaworthy museum cargo ship in the world. It is the last remaining ship of the Cap-San series, which were built in 1961/62. The ships sailed mainly to South America, referred to as the "White Swan of the South Atlantic". Since 1988, the "Cap San Diego" is a museum and hotel ship and is berthed in Hamburg.

These little guys are Quick! LOL but fun to photograph and one day I would like to attempt an inflight shot of one. :) Happy Sabbath to all... the Princess Terror (aka, granddaughter) and I are heading out to church this morning. Her idea of a great church... does it have TOYS?? LOL This church goes one better, in the basement where the fellowship hall is and where we eat lunch, there are Scooters and Tricycles! And plenty of space to ride one. This church, which we rent, has a daycare school and hence, has toys, making it the very best church for her!!. I guess we all have our standards. :)

is a cape on the Atlantic coast of northern Morocco, located 12 km west of Tangier at the mouth of the Strait of Gibraltar.
It was formerly called Ampelusio promontory.
On a beautiful day without haze you can see the headland of Gibraltar.

C'est le point le plus au nord de l'ïle de Minorque. Le Cap de Cavalleria, sorte de grand triangle, représente la pointe d'une longue péninsule au relief sculpté par les tempêtes et la tramontane. Les falaises culminent à 80 mètres au niveau du phare. En poursuivant par la route à la gauche du Cap, se trouvent plusieurs plages dont certaines sont parmi les plus réputées de l’ile. Les eaux autour de la péninsule sont classées réserve marine. La péninsule est un secteur protégé, quasiment vierge de constructions.
En grand format, on aperçoit le phare (blanc). J'ai ajouté une note sur la photo.

In the fading light of the day, a Red-capped Plover caught my eye as it bathed in the shallow waters on the shoreline. After a refreshing soak, it took to the skies, vigorously shaking the remaining seawater from its feathers.
