Villefranche-sur-Mer is a commune in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region on the French Riviera. Villefranche-sur-Mer adjoins the city of Nice to the east. The bay is one of the deepest natural harbours of any port in the Mediterranean Sea.

Le cap Fréhel (réserve ornithologique), situé à 8,5 km du centre de Fréhel et à 4 km du centre de Plévenon, est un des plus impressionnants de Bretagne: la falaise domine la mer d'environ 70 mètres. Un sentier entre les bruyères et les ajoncs fait le tour du cap.
Le vieux phare (ou tour Vauban), en granite, fut construit sous Louis XIV en 1650. Le phare actuel, datant de 1950, domine la mer de 103 mètres. Par temps clair, il est parfois possible de voir les îles Anglo-Normandes. (source: Wikipédia)

Greens/EFA MEPs rallied outside European Parliament this morning and met with NGOs to support their calls for genuine CAP reform.
The vote for the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy will take place tomorrow from noon, Wednesday 13th March.
The vote in the Agricultural committee in January unravelled the European Commission's somewhat Green leaning proposal on CAP reform and resulted in an even less ambitious text.
Our MEPs are are now working to change the trend of the vote in committee.
A real Green and Fair CAP reform must focus on two points:
1. REAL GREENING : No to the "less money, no greening approach"
2. FAIRNESS: There is enough money for a greener and solidarity focused CAP

Nell'estremo nord si trova il caratteristico mulino a vento di Cap Corse Mattei.
Sulla parte più alta di questa zona sono stati installati alcuni multini per trasformare in energia elettrica la forza del vento che batte su questa costa.
Scendendo più in basso arriviamo al mare nella zona di Centuri, che offre una splendia spiaggia sassosa con acqua cristallina e la possibilità di
notare come in quanto poco tempo si passa da un'altitudine di 1200 metri al livello del mare.
