Le cap de Creus est l'extrémité orientale de la péninsule Ibérique et de la chaîne montagneuse des Pyrénées. Il se trouve au nord du golfe de Roses, dans la comarque de l'Alt Empordà , elle-même dans la province de Gérone, en Catalogne. Cap de Creus (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈkab dÉ™ ˈkɾɛws]) is a peninsula and a headland located at the far NE of Catalonia, some 25 km south from the French border. The cape lies in the municipal area of Cadaqués, and the nearest large town is Figueres, capital of the Alt Empordà and birthplace of Salvador DalÃ. Cap de Creus is the easternmost point of mainland Catalonia and therefore of Spain and the Iberian Peninsula.
The area is now a Natural Park.[1]
The peninsula has an area of 190 square kilometres of an extraordinary landscape value; a windbeaten very rocky dry region, with almost no trees, in contrast with a seaside rich in minuscule creeks of deep blue sea to anchor. Mountains are the eastern foothills of the Pyrenees, the natural border between France and Spain. The region is frequently swept by awful north wind "tramontana" (beyond mountains) which has caused many naval disasters. Cadaqués is the most well known village, home of artists and writers, with sophisticated atmosphere, near Port Lligat where Dalà built his home in a paradise small bay. (Dali depicted the peninsula in his painting The Persistence of Memory.) El Port de la Selva, with a little fishing harbour, is less exploited, with good gastronomic recourses and pleasant terraces.
Sant Pere de Rodes stands out at 500 m of altitude, with views of the Cap and the Pyrenees. It is an 11th-century monastery whose first structures date from about 750 AD.

For the second year in a row, the Stellar Awards night honored the best of the best in middle schoolers.
The honorees rolled up to the red carpet at Roosevelt High School in limousines before receiving their awards. The categories awarded to students ranged from "Most Inquisitive" to "Best Citizen" to "Perfect Attendance."
It was a night of tipping the cap to the youth that lead by example to be the best that they can be.
The black-capped chickadee (Poecile atricapillus) is a small, nonmigratory, North American songbird that lives in deciduous and mixed forests. It is a passerine bird in the tit family Paridae. It is the state bird of both Maine and Massachusetts in the United States, and the provincial bird of New Brunswick in Canada. It is well known for its capacity to lower its body temperature during cold winter nights as well as its good spatial memory to relocate the caches where it stores food, and its boldness near humans (sometimes feeding from the hand). It is almost universally considered 'cute' due to its oversized round head, tiny body, and apparent curiosity about everything, including humans.
Cap Fréhel is a very scenic spot on the northern coast of Brittany. The views from the high limestone cliffs overlooking the sea are very far-reaching and exceptional. The location is also a protected bird reserve, popular with bird-spotters. In the area there are two lighthouses: one built by Louis XIV in 1650 and the other dating from 1950.

Capul Fréhel este un loc foarte pitoresc pe coasta de nord a Bretaniei. De pe stâncile din calcar se vede pânǎîn depǎrtare iar vizitatorul se poate bucura de privelişti deosebit de frumoase. Locul este de asemenea o rezervaţie de pǎsǎri, apreciatǎ de amatorii de fotografii cu zburǎtoare. In zonǎ se aflǎ douǎ faruri de coastǎ, unul construit de Ludovic al XIV-lea în 1650 iar celǎlalt în 1950.

Das Cap Fréhel (teils auch Cap Fréhal geschrieben) ist eine Landzunge an der Côte d'Émeraude in der nordöstlichen Bretagne und bildet den nördlichsten Punkt des felsigen Vorgebirges, das zwischen den Städten Saint-Malo und Saint-Brieuc in den Golf von Saint-Malo hineinragt.

Le cap Khoboï se trouve tout au nord de l’île d’Olkhone. Le mot « khoboï » signifie en bouriate « croc, dent mâchelière ». Il est vrai que les contours du cap ressemblent à un croc. Sa vue de côté évoque le profil d’une femme, c’est pourquoi on l'appelle parfois le cap la Roche Déva (la Roche Vierge).
