My multimeter has a capacitance function so I used one of my "special" test leads to plug in to the BNC connector to check the capacitance of the dry tank, it reads 242 pico farads.
Finals stage tuning coils (inductance) with some variable capacitance present. Note the spark gaps!
Scale is approx. 5ft across diameter of inductance coil.
