We have two "Knockout Rose" plants in our backyard and they are beautiful when in full bloom. This is a shot made last summer and now turned into a painterly 30" x 45" canvas for our living room wall.

That's what I felt like doing when I arrived at this beach as there was so much to photograph, so many compositions, and I had very little time until sundown, this was one of the latter shots I took and I decided to have a bit of Sunday Sliding fun with it...
...Soooo, I added a simple texture and had a go at giving it a 3D effect to simulate a canvas mounted picture, I have also uploaded a plain one too, linked below ò¿ò

Nature holds high disregard for your prowess, it's fury you will never possess. Shy away from early morning caress, the ocean holds our hearts - so say the foolish and careless. As they realize now, running towards the ships bow; we made a blunder, the ship is torn asunder - so it shall be for our flesh and bone. We sought to venture out into life alone...anguish will soon vanish under skies of thunder...
It always amazes me how many colours are in the stars that you can never see until you look closely or make a star trail! I'm not a huge fan of star trails but every now and again I like to do it to see something that I wouldn't see with my eye. The light on the tree is from our campfire as well as a few other fires burning out around us.

Sun shines brightly on both sides of myself, I alone consent. The cold past reaches eerily near to my walk at present...my future seems so far away, is the walk worth the distance or has my judgment once again been blinded by a passing mirage of brilliance; indeed I lack in confidence, this I confess as I walk hunched over I will not look up to see what I cannot hold or possess...
