I am back from my road trip, it has been challenging, the weather wasn't always on my side but i'm pretty happy with some of my shots that i will be sharing with you over the next little while.
Photography is having the ability to capture "luck" after you've had the patience of waiting for it.
The first shot from my road trip is a photo from the Oregon Coast, it was a very foggy morning and couldn't see much of the coast but looking the other way towards the mountains the sun was trying to peak through the fog in the forest.

I went hiking in the Narrows of Zion National Park. I was hoping that the shuttle was done for the season but they kept it going longer this year because it was busy in the park. This make hiking in there harder. You have to park at the visitor center, change into your wetsuit and booties then take a 25 min shuttle to the Sinawava temple parking, then hike 2 km to the mouth of the Canyon, then you can hike all day in the river. Even camp there if you want. I turned around after a few hours. It is a beautiful place, specially in Autumn. the colors bounce off the canyon walls, the cottonwood trees have yellow leaves and the river a nice green, turquoisy color.
A fun experience to hike in the Virgin River of Zion National Park, Utah.
