Prachtige herfstkleuren in het landgoed Meer en Bos.

Ik zocht een manier om geen klassieke herfstfoto te maken maar een impressie te geven van al deze prachtige kleuren. Veel geëxperimenteerd met sluitertijden, lensopeningen en bewegingen tijdens het fotograferen bracht mij dit resultaat. De overige 40 probeersels vond ik niet goed genoeg. De nabewerking in Photoshop was minimaal.

Due to the fact that the wind comes almost from West, the waves become the same direction, from W to E, and wash the sand away

To stop/make less this washout effect, to break the stronght of the waves - that's the reason of this pillars. In the northern part of Zeeland there are beaches , many km long, and there are this pillars, always two lines together, repeating so about 500m. Depending from tide/low tide you can see 2,0m or nothing from them.

Perfect for silhouettes..

The fog was however not as thick as last time so the trees in the background can be seen.

Anyway.. It works in its own way..

Edit 2: What I see now is that I have to reshoot this at 55-60 mm so I can get the top left to play out.. Now it looks very croped..

Very unsure about the treatment here. Any advice is welcome.

I got real lucky here to have the 6 doves fly by.

Overexposed 2 steps to get the silhouette and harsh feel to it.

This dates back to 2010, a young hare trying to keep itself tidy in pouring rain

Same shot as last week. But I lowered the clarity a lot and inverted it.

Because of my angle to the water the reflected kid looks different from the other kid. The stick ie looks like it has been moved. A Lucky Luke effect:p

The eye is tricked because it thinks the line of level should be the pier. Funny. I did not get it when I shot it.

I have to investigate this further.
