As I sat in my garden enjoying a nice cup of tea I liked how the late afternoon light was illuminating the grass.

I came across a number of bones in the mud which looked human whilst taking this photo, but I suspect that they maybe from the resturant below Canon Street Railway Bridge.

Perfect for silhouettes..
The fog was however not as thick as last time so the trees in the background can be seen.
Anyway.. It works in its own way..

Edit 2: What I see now is that I have to reshoot this at 55-60 mm so I can get the top left to play out.. Now it looks very croped..

Very unsure about the treatment here. Any advice is welcome.
I got real lucky here to have the 6 doves fly by.
Overexposed 2 steps to get the silhouette and harsh feel to it.
Same shot as last week. But I lowered the clarity a lot and inverted it.
Because of my angle to the water the reflected kid looks different from the other kid. The stick ie looks like it has been moved. A Lucky Luke effect:p
The eye is tricked because it thinks the line of level should be the pier. Funny. I did not get it when I shot it.
I have to investigate this further.
decided to take the plunge and try full frame...bought a second hand 5d from ebay...and this is the first shot...hand held with no flash, a bit shaky then, so not sharp...but like the tones, and so far so good...
So... I just recently put my dirty hands on an Irix 11mm for my 5D.
I must say, I’m really impressed by this lens!
I’m still testing it, before coronavirus will have locked me in my house. At that point you will see waaaay more pictures of my lovely feathered best friends.
I really wished Chitzkoi, my blue bird and my best friend also, could have been with me this evening when I was taking photos, he would have been left speechless with the beautiful sunset we had, but unfortunately it’s still too cold for him to go out 😔

First it started just as a question...
But pretty soon after this I heard him mumbling something about putting a spell on me if I didn't take him...
So I hope I find the time this week to take him to the last movie of the Potter series!
