These candlesticks are made of various woods, including walnut and cherry, that were hand-turned. They have a 3-inch base and measure 11 inches tall. They fit chime chandles (0.5 inch diameter x 5 inches tall) and were sealed with a semi-gloss lacquer.

With the San Francisco 49ers got seed #5 in the play off, this could be The Candlestick last glow. The shot was taken before kick off San Francisco 49ers vs Atlanta Falcons.

Had a very short wander around Batemans (National Trust) today ... us an a million screaming children.

I was on the look out for hearts, and they were in short supply, but this was close-ish.

I spent a couple of hours Sunday morning scouting some spots in South San Francisco. One of my stops was at Candlestick Point Recreation Area to check out a fishing Pier that maxsmart took this shot of. On my way in from the freeway I noticed another Pier at the far end of the park, and there just happened to be a nice low tide, so I was able to climb down low enough under it to get this shot...

The sun was low and to the left of the frame and for the first 3 minutes of the exposure was behind clouds, but during the last minute there was direct sunlight hitting the pylons, which I thought gave it a really cool effect.

Thank you so much everyone for taking a look......

OK, so this is something way outside of my confort zone. I am all about color....but I decided to go B&W on this one. Something about the mood of this shot just seemed to scream "Mono". I really don't know how to process images in B&W, so I just opened up the original RAW file in Photoshop Elements and started playing around with the RAW adjustments until I got the look I was going for. Any constructive criticism is welcome!

Taken at a pier just outside of Candlestick Park in South San Francisco just after sunrise on my last day in the Bay Area. I had my eye on this pier the whole trip, and since it was near my hotel and I had to be back at the airport soon, i figured I'd go out and shoot it despite the fact that I REALLY didn't want to get out of bed. :)

The Kellogg Switchboard and Supply Company was founded in Chicago in 1897 by Milo Gifford Kellogg after Alexander Graham Bell's telephone patents expired in 1893 and 1894. This phone carries patent years of 1901. 07 and 08. In 1952 IT&T bought out Kellogg now named ITT Kellogg. In 1954 IT&T merged Kellogg with another company and now the name was ITT Telecommunications. The Kellogg name was now just a historical memory. Almost. In 1989 ITT Telecommunications sold off its telecommunications companies to Alcatel. In 1992 Alcatel sold their telephone equipment to a syndicate of investors who called their new company Cortelco Kellogg. Since then the Kellogg name has once again been dropped! On December 12, 2008 eOn Communications announced an agreement to acquire Cortelco Systems Holding Corporation, We shall see! Photographed in Central California 2016.
