Nagasaki is a city that demands climbing skills, with endless stairs and ramps shaping its landscape. Along this uphill journey, the “Matsumoto Flower Shop” appears. Blue buckets filled with flowers brighten a facade worn by time. Above, an apartment with shirts hanging in the wind tells of life and work coexisting in the same place. An ordinary scene, yet unique in this city.
Colleagues say: "you shirts are too bright!". I find that they match well with "lava black" and "sea blue".
I'm back! Have a great beautifl weekend, see you very soon!!

In my little town,
We grew up believing, that God keeps his on us all
And I used to lean upon him, as I pledged allegiance to the wall
Coming home after school, riding our bikes past the gates of the stadium
My mom doing the laundry, hanging our shirts in the dirty breeze
And after it rains, there’s a rainbow
And all of the colors are black
It’s not that the colors aren’t there,
It’s just imagination they lack,
Cause everything’s the same back
In my little town
——————————————
In mijn kleine stad,
Want alles is hetzelfde terug
In mijn stadje
———————————-
