She was out in minutes. But it wasn't restful. Kids and red eye flights do not mix.

Climax is the highest point on the railroad between Savannah, Ga., and the Chattahoochee River. The town was laid out and named in 1883 after a branch rail line was built to Chattahoochee, Fla. Later, a second branch rail line was built to Amsterdam, Ga. The town served as a rail junction and an agricultural community for many years, but was not incorporated until Aug. 11, 1905. It flourished, with businesses, churches, a school, hotels, and services needed to sustain the community. With the coming of paved highways and the cutback of rail services, the town’s economic strenght [sic] declined.

Love her imagination. Not sure what's going on but she's pulled out my OED with its magnifying glass and furiously typing on this non-functioning old laptop. She's having a grand time in her own mind.

Used Tiny Planet, PictureShow, and Camera+ to make this one. I posted info on how I created this in a blog post at www.iosphotoapps.com/2011/05/08/creating-tiny-planet-artw...

Tried a casual, nofinder walk-by of these ladies waiting for a bus on a hot, humid day but I still need work on my instincts. Hit the button too soon and didn't get them head-on as I'd hoped.

Nicki & I went out there tonight to see some lights.

The back of my MacBook Pro on this very sad day. RIP Steve Jobs, 1955-2011.

This I hate! The only outlets in the bathrooms (apartment and hotel) are these that only accept electric shavers. You cannot dry your hair or curl, etc. in front of the bathroom mirror. At the apartment I have to stand in the hall 12 feet away from the mirror.
