This soup has become a part of my regular rotation. It's super simple: onions, garlic, potatoes, kale, sausage. Tonight I tried it with turkey sausage, which doesn't give that nice rich flavor (read: fat) that pork sausage does, but it was still pretty good. With a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and freshly ground pepper on top, it's perfect.

iPhone photo with a CameraPlus app filter applied (Portrait lighting, plus the Overlay filter), post process within the phone itself.
This was part of a test of several iPhone photo apps. See the set for the rest of the results.
CameraPlus is a useful app. It has several built in one-touch filters, plus it allows for simple lighting improvements - this test is my original photos with the Portrait lighting, and then the Overlay filter applied. It also allows cropping and framing. I have two other CameraPlus examples in this set.
