The touch my kids were hoping for: a Star Wars viewing running throughout the party. But then they were too busy playing to watch.
Kids wanted to watch my original Muppet Show DVDs. Giggles kept erupting. They were in enthralled. My heart swelled knowing they loved them as much as I did, decades later.
I added a couple of new blown eggs decorated by me to my collection. This is my same Easter basket from when I was a kid, too, painted by my mom.

The Cozy is an award I give out in honor of our late cat, Cozy. He loved Thanksgiving. He would always sit at the head of the table as we set the table up.
Since he died, Thanksgiving hasn't been the same. So, each year since, I look for similar traits in the cats we still have. Mia, Jessica's cat, jumped in Beth's seat as Beth was getting food. This was the Cozyish thing this year.
I took this in the morning while walking to train station with my iPod touch and edited with camera+ app.

When we're looking for a quick and affordable dinner, we often head to Taqueria Monte Cristo. Big portions, decent sangria, welcoming atmosphere.
It's our dog's third birthday. Each year we make her a cornbread "cupcake" with peanut butter and honey "frosting" topped with a dog biscuit while the kids sing Happy Birthday!
Missed the 20:16 from Lysaker by a hair tonight. Disinclined to stare at Lysaker walls for the full two hours until the next one would arrive, I boarded another bus going in the opposite direction, towards Oslo. Disembarked at The National Theatre (Nationaltheatret) and walked the full length of Karl Johan street. Had just half an hour left to wait until the very last bus at 22:00 from the terminal, and arrived home at 23:30. Long, long day, but at least, and at last, it's weekend :)
