Our annual father's day photography adventure had to be postponed. I had job come up last minute so we did our trip a week later. We took Dad's brand new hybrid Lincoln to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. From the mainland you can pretty much drive down to Ocracoke. They have national parks, Wright Brothers stuff and lighthouses. There are also wild horses. It was easy to find a few of them but once we rented a Jeep we could drive down the beach and it seemed like they were everywhere.
Near the Cape Hatteras lighthouse, between where it used to be and where it is now, there is a little pond filled with turtles. They are not afraid of people at all. We probably could have brought one of them home. Our annual father's day photography adventure had to be postponed. I had job come up last minute so we did our trip a week later.
