Our new hound hid behind the tree when he saw my camera.

He is a blue tick coonhound mix, so we named him "Blue." Very original.

The camera has a split image screen installed. It is the absolute best for manual focusing! It even indicates which way to rotate the focusing ring.

Sometimes it seems to me that I've got more film cameras than I've shot rolls. Srsly, it has to stop!

Having the grandchildren here for a 10 day visit has limited my macro photography and I needed something quick to photograph to add to this weeks theme of pastel. Then I spotted Poppy's (one of my granddaughters) camera - it seemed to fit the bill so here it is HMM

Cameras in a very dusty and smeared glass cabinet and the only lighting was the lamp you see reflected in the glass. Shot with Fujifilm x-t3 & 18-55mm f2.8-4 fujinon zoom lens.

He was carrying a heavy camera on his shoulders and other equipment was hanging by is side. It would appear that he was about to film some news or documentary item along our Sea Walk area in West Vancouver, BC. The car marked CBC was parked just behind him and across the street from my apartment. I wonder why he and the script girl were filming along our sea walk in West Vancouver BC.

A random tablescrap between projects. The legs are a variation of these. I know the legs are a mix of old gray and bley, but I have no 1x1 clips in bley :(

...I left the lens cap on!"

This pic was taken on saturday, around 5.30 pm at Kenjeran beach.

The idea and editing was from me, but it was my friend, Daniel, who shot it (my hand holding the camera).

I remember the Brownie 8mm motion picture films from my youth , but I don't remember the model with the multiple lenses.

10x6 xray film 60mm pinhole camera test.

Camera for 620 roll film , made in USA , 1941-1948 . Lens on double helical tube , with fine focus wheel . Original case .

I got this idea from a post to this group that i saw last week.

I used a shoot thru umbrella to the right of the camera and a direct flash from behind and to the left. I also had a background light. For me i just used one light (shoot thru) to right as i figured the hair light would not have hit me if i was inside the camera.

I will add photoshop details soon at

Yes, those tiny (inverted) photos were literally taken by that 2x2 brick :)

It's just a piece of brass shim with a pinhole cut in it, with tape to cover the bottom of the brick. The brick's tube has been cut out, and the photo paper just rests in the back of the brick.

It works with film too, but I haven't been able to get a presentable shot that way yet. It's surprisingly difficult to process a piece of film that tiny!

//

The Radcliffe Camera (called in earlier days "The Radcliffe Library"), is the first circular and science library in England and surely the finest 18th century building in Oxford. Its scenic qualities are underlined by the surrounding of other fine buildings such as the Bodleian, Brasenose College and... the wonderful twin towers of All Souls College.

Lots and lots of them.
