The have dressed up the statue of Caesar in front of Caesars palace hotel, with cowboy props, I guess because the rodeo is in town. It looked hilarious.

Caesar thought it was a good place to pose.

A Caesar, with clamato and vodka. I have always been disgusted with the idea of clamato, but these were on special at the hotel bar, so I decided to try it. The verdict? It needs a lot of spice, but you can almost believe that what you're drinking doesn't have clamato in it. Might as well just leave it out.

365 Days Project - 79

One of Las Vegas' largest hotel/casino complexes and most recognised landmarks, Caesars Palace has a Roman theme.

The complex contains many statues, columns and iconography typical of Hollywood Roman period productions, including a 20-foot (6.1 m) statue of Julius Caesar near the entrance. Caesars Palace is now owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. As of July 2016, the hotel has 3,976 rooms and suites in six towers and a convention facility of over 300,000 square feet (28,000 m2).

The hotel has a large range of restaurants, including several serving authentic Chinese cuisine to cater to wealthy East Asian gamblers. From the outset, Caesars Palace has been oriented towards attracting high rollers. The modern casino facilities include table games such as blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, Spanish 21, mini-baccarat, Pai Gow and Pai Gow poker; a 4,500-square-foot (420 m2) 24-hour poker room; and a large number of slot machines and video poker machines. The complex has been expanded many times over the years.

From 1981 to 1984, the complex also hosted 2 Formula 1 and two CART races. The former circuit is long gone and one would never know it was even there.

Entrance to swimming pool.

Their pools are open to the public . The topless Venus pool is $20.00 but no charge M-Thur. The Bacchus pool up the curved stairs is VIP only. Whenever I go to their pools, I stop at their slots to make a $5.00 contribution. I always look forward to visiting these fantastic pools on my vacation to Vegas.

this is where caesar lays, every day when he's outside*.

the gate is to the left where that step up is and the back door is to the right.

in the fall when it gets cool there is usually a pile of leaves that get blown over there which makes for a nice, warm, comfy spot for him to sleep.

*before anyone has a conniption, no our dogs do not stay outside 24hrs a day. when the weather is nice though, they are out a lot, especially caesar, he prefers being outside actually. when i let him in he'll visit for a bit but often times will go right back to the door and want out. sometimes at night he'll even want to stay out but we don't let him because he barks at anything that moves, lol
