New cables being laid over Bromborough railway bridge - 4 ducts in a square formation, and green communications ducts moved out of the way.
This is the free Cable Panel Vest pattern from the Lion Brand Yarn website made using Amazing Yarn in the Wildflower #203 colorway. I used 4 balls of yarn and size US7/4.5mm and US8/5mm needles. This vest was so fun to make and easy to pick up while on the train. The colors in the yarn are absolutely gorgeous. The price is nice too! The only change I made was to have the collar join in the center back rather than the shoulder side. I would definitely make this vest again.
One weeks in SF staying on a cable car street and was thoroughly done with their constant bell ringing.

The world's largest ship designed to lay fibre optic cable.
In April 2011 she berthed at the Cammel Laird Shipyard, Birkenhead.
As she went past I noticed that she didn't have a rudder.

The impressive Norwegian cable laying ship "Nexans Skagerrak" hard at work as seen from Ardneil Bay near Seamill. The cable being laid will form a 385km link from the nuclear power station at Hunterston and The Wirral. Arran is in the background in this picture taken with my little compact camera on Wednesday.

One of the cables at OWC [Orlando Watersports Complex]. I shot through my sunglasses to get the warm green/yellow tones, other than that, I hardly did any edits to this.
