The Singapore Cable Car is a gondola lift providing an aerial link from Mount Faber (Faber Peak Singapore) on the main island of Singapore to the resort island of Sentosa across the Keppel Harbour. Opened on 15 February 1974, it was the second aerial ropeway system in the world to span a harbour, after Port Vell Aerial Tramway in Barcelona, which opened already in 1931. However, it is not the first aerial ropeway system to span the sea. For instance, Awashima Kaijō Ropeway in Japan, built in 1964, goes over a short strait to an island. Although referred to by its operators as a cable car, the listed system is in fact a monocable gondola lift and not an aerial tramway.

Cable television, internet and phone service (yes, landlines still are a thing) can produce a swirling mess to catch the eye.

This is the fifth photo I've posted with "curlicue" in the title; must be my twisted mind.

The Namsan Cable Car (남산 케이블카) is the aerial transportation system that links the base of Namsan Mountain to the area near the N Seoul Tower in central Seoul, South Korea.

Opened in 1962, this cable car provides a direct and functional ascent, serving as one of the primary options for reaching the mountain's peak without requiring a hike. The journey typically takes about three minutes, covering a distance of 605 meters.

The cable car terminates near the N Seoul Tower (엔 서울타워), the communication and observation structure that dominates the capital's skyline. The tower is known for offering 360-degree views of the city and hosting the popular "locks of love" tradition on its terraces.

Using the Namsan Cable Car allows visitors convenient access to the tower complex for observation and related tourist activities.

This custom was made because of one reason... you guys. You guys wanted Cable and Bob from Hydra, so here's Cable! Its a super simple figure, and was done in 12 hours. I used the SHIELD torso (based off of Joemark's), a clone trooper head, a sliver arm, and the ACU trooper legs. The hair was the Doctor Who hair, and I really liked it on this figure. The gun is a regular blaster with another gun attached. I think it captured Cable quite nicely, and so does Deadpool. Tell me what you think!

Cable Beach, Broome, Western Australia, is famous for its "Staircase to the moon" photographs, taken at the full moon. I can only imagine how many photographers are there at that time!

No Staircase to the moon in this photo, but a most pleasant evening spent on Cable Beach.

I don't think there is a more cliche shot that you can take at Cable Beach than this.

Crossing the large cable-stayed bridge with little vehicular flow and few pedestrians. The bridge connects the beautiful mountains adorned with modern buildings with the valley. Under the bridge passes the Medellin River, the subway line, the Regional highway and the skatepark of 4 Sur.
