The historic center of San Francisco is the northeast quadrant of the city bordered by Market Street to the south. It is here that the Financial District is centered, with Union Square, the principal shopping and hotel district, nearby. Cable cars carry riders up steep inclines to the summit of Nob Hill, once the home of the city's business tycoons, and down to Fisherman's Wharf, a tourist area featuring Dungeness crab from a still-active fishing industry. Also in this quadrant are Russian Hill, a residential neighborhood with the famously crooked Lombard Street, North Beach, the city's Little Italy, and Telegraph Hill, which features Coit Tower. Nearby is San Francisco's Chinatown, established in the 1840s. San Francisco. California.

The San Francisco cable car system is the world's last manually operated cable car system. An icon of San Francisco, California, the cable car system forms part of the intermodal urban transport network operated by the San Francisco Municipal Railway, or "Muni" as it is better known. Of the twenty-three lines established between 1873 and 1890,[5] three remain (one of which combines parts of two earlier lines): two routes from downtown near Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf, and a third route along California Street. While the cable cars are used to a certain extent by commuters, their small service area and premium fares for single rides make them more of a tourist attraction. They are among the most significant tourist sites in the city, along with Alcatraz Island and Fisherman's Wharf. The cable cars are the only mobile National Monument in the world, and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

3 Feet HDMI Cable Male to Male avm91...

This 8 foot HDMI cable costs $4.62 at Monoprice.com, so Target is charging nearly 10x the price that another vendor can sell at and still make a profit. Actual cable cost is probably $2. I like how it is locked up so that it appears more valuable. :)
Anyway, for shame, Target. I expect this out of Best Buy, but not you.
Ran into a batch of ShiftBrite cables with a few bad ones. I needed to test all of them so I made a simple tester. It just runs a single circuit through all the wires in the cable and lights an LED. I made it in a few minutes and tested about 300 cables in 30 minutes.
CABLE RACKS AT GRID COMPUTING CENTER, FERMILAB WITH BLUE LIGHTS.
Grid computing is a form of distributed computing in which multiple clusters of nodes work together to complete tasks. Physics submit jobs, or computer programs that physicists use to extract physics results from data, to the grid. The grid determines which resources are free and uses those nodes to process the job.
