This is the winch cable guide for my Jeep. I'm currently polishing it, but loved the texture so I had to save it.

These huge pulleys drive the cables that move the "elevator" that takes the miners down the mine shaft. The whole mine was abandonded in the 40s and still is fairly intact.
This is one end of the remaining cable lift system installed for the construction of the Hoover Dam. It was capable of lifting massive amounts.
