I love this girl with her two best friends. I have included a close up of to show her grip on the little cat's head. It was NOT going to move during the exposure! The dog Is cooler about the whole "sitting for a photograph" business. I am also charmed by her turned in toes which seem to be because the chair was too tall for her feet to reach the floor.
The cabinet card is by Lies' of Pittsburgh, PA. The light line down the left side is not a flaw but a reflection off the edge of an embossed rectangle in the center of the mount. I have seen this kind of raised area on vignetted head and shoulder portraits where it works well. It does not seem as appropriate for a full frame image like this.

Tops could be butcher block, granite, formica, quartz or possibly other materials.
The Kitchen cabinets were created with the Bedford door style in Oak finished in Chestnut and in Maple finished in Buttercream with Bronze glaze.
Antique Chinese Red Lacquered Cabinet
Great rustic and distressed look, with some of the aged red lacquered worn revealing the undercoats of the cabinet's finish. Nice example of accordion doors held in place with a wooden peg. Ample space inside of cabinet and generous drawers. Inside of cabinet is painted black. Brass plate on center doors and brass pulls

The cabinets are in for the most part -- in enough at least that the countertop guy could come by and template the countertops.
Obviously, drawer-fronts, pulls and trim are still waiting for installation, but the bulk of the work is done. (I think the cabinet guys do the last of their work on Monday.)
