Auch diese Hütte gehört zu einem der vielen Bauten des Wildgartens, die nur aus Naturmaterialien hergestellt wurden.
This hut also belongs to one of the many buildings of the wild garden, which were only made of natural materials.

Lupton is a tiny hamlet in Apache county, situated right next to the New Mexico - Arizona state line. This part of Arizona has been inhabited for at least ten thousand years . . Travelers are surrounded by a number of trading posts selling all manner of Indian treasures. Several of these have been in business since the birth of Route 66. Lupton became a virtual ghost town when I-40 opened in 1984.

This capture was taken in the Olympic National Forest Washington State. This cabin was built in 1907 as the first administrative site of the Olympic National Forest which is now Olympic National Park
Exploring British Columbia.
I came across this abandoned log cabin about 20 kilometres from the nearest community on a local forest service road. Judging by the surroundings, there may not have been road access in the area when it was built. Perhaps built by a trapper who walked many kilometres on a narrow trail to get to it. It's in a nice setting as there is a small stream and lake nearby and appears someone was there recently.
Late autumn conditions begin to give way to winter over a remote cabin on the waters edge at Bowron Lake. Isolated from the troubles of world, its places like this which provide some much needed tranquility to hardy souls looking for some inner peace. Cariboo Mountains. British Columbia, Canada.

This cabin sits along the shoreline of a tiny lake, not too many miles from our own cabin. If only it could talk and tell me how it came to be built so many decades ago, and by whom. I'm sure that every remote dwelling has a unique story.
I see snow machine tracks mingled with animal tracks in the snow surrounding the cabin. Snowshoe hares always take refuge under a cabin during the winter, and you can clearly see their paths. While inside - I am sure the squirrels and shrews have made cozy little nests for themselves.
