CNW C-628 6707 (3429-07 10/65) ex N&W 1106 @Escanaba MI 8-22-86 Note position of "F" on long end, legacy of unit's N&W days. Looking down the long hood of a C-628 must have been like looking down the boiler of a steam engine. (I don't think I ever saw a CNW C-628 running long end first, although I did on Monon which purchased the model with dual controls)

it crashed in 1999 operating such a flight near Mayne Island/BC
