The first really nice day of 2010. The sun was shining and it was a lot warmer than it has been all year. As I walked past this bush I couldn't help but notice that it was buzzing fairly loud. Upon closer inspection I noticed 100's maybe 1000's of flies all over the bush. I now bring my macro lens every where my camera goes (even though I don't have a camera bag it doubles as a lens cover) Since the flies weren't moving too much I thought it would be a good opportunity to get a good macro shot of the common fly.

My least favorite things about summer is the burrs. Buzz and I have a deal wherein I am allowed to comb them out for 2 minutes, then pet him for 3 minutes, then comb again for 2.
He thinks I should just leave them. Doggy flair or something.

There are only 3 7-11s in this whole town, so finding any of this great Simpson's stuff has been hard. Today I finally nabbed a case of Buzz cola and the Slurpee Straws. Still need to grab the Radioactive man Comic and Krusty-O's. But it's looking more and more like it will be an ebay adventure for those items. Glad I managed to get the heavy item here in town though.
