Spring is here so the insect season is starting. This gave me an opportunity to dust off my Vivitar 28-70mm reverse mounted to my Canon 600D. This shot is not cropped but a full sensor image taken at about 55mm.

buzz : n.
1. A vibrating, humming, or droning sound.
2. A state of pleasant intoxication, as from alcohol.
3. A buzzcut.
There are only 3 7-11s in this whole town, so finding any of this great Simpson's stuff has been hard. Today I finally nabbed a case of Buzz cola and the Slurpee Straws. Still need to grab the Radioactive man Comic and Krusty-O's. But it's looking more and more like it will be an ebay adventure for those items. Glad I managed to get the heavy item here in town though.

What a Buzz Ball you ask?
It’s a gigantic éclair filled with lemon curd. (And one thing you must know is everything at Cake Love is baked from scratch.) It was not possible to wait until after dinner to eat it. I got home, managed to snap a picture before chomping directly into a big puddle of gooy, vibrantly custardy lemon toe-curd-ling goodness as it oozed down the sides of the billowing, cool and wafery eclaire shell that had just enough resistance to the teeth to let you know it meant business. The room started spinning, but then I was ok.
