Taken a couple summers ago but I never tire of going through old photos. I still remember the audible buzzing among the plants from the bees that contribute to the on-site apiary.

"Who needs a KWIK-E-MART!... I do!"

They have converted a 7-11 into a functioning KWIK-E-MART in Bladensburg, MD. So I spent my day off taking a trip to check it out. They have everything you need from Squishies to Buzz Cola to Pink Frosted Donuts with sprinkles! Sadly they were out of Krusty-O's and there was no Duff Beer to be found!

Found this little buzzy bumblebee dancing & chatting along the side of our house. I know I'm a little out of shape... but I'm not a friend little guy.

Not a Kubrick - this was from a Disney Store exclusive series called Mega Minis. This was really designed for kids and came with a bunch of crappy accessories.

There were others in this series, including Aladdin and Hercules. In a word, meh.

What a Buzz Ball you ask?

It’s a gigantic éclair filled with lemon curd. (And one thing you must know is everything at Cake Love is baked from scratch.) It was not possible to wait until after dinner to eat it. I got home, managed to snap a picture before chomping directly into a big puddle of gooy, vibrantly custardy lemon toe-curd-ling goodness as it oozed down the sides of the billowing, cool and wafery eclaire shell that had just enough resistance to the teeth to let you know it meant business. The room started spinning, but then I was ok.
