Just want to thank everyone for all the support! I will be off and on Flickring because I have so much to do around my house this week! Have a fantastic week!
When I shot this I put my shutter speed to 1/1000 of a second and still didn't stop the wings. Next time I'll try 1/2000 of a second.
Hope you're having a great weekend
to say Happy New Year!! You can see that Mr. Bee was caught partying hard :-)
Well....taken from the archives. I continue to work my way through my 2008 archives which was the year when I participated in the shot a day group (sorry!! I started my photostream over). I was ever so faithful to take a fresh shot every day and not just one........ I have learned to be much more selective about the shots I take --- and keep. Lots to wade through for 2008! I will be sharing some of those shots over the next couple of months.
I hope you all have a happy and healthy year ahead. You are all appreciated and valued. Thank you for your visits and friendship. Happy New Year to you all!

Pistoeka buzz droid, known for its sabotage of republic starfighters. Warning signs include: the fun beginning.
This little Rufus and its partner were quite active buzzing each other. They were like two miniature jet planes having a dog fight. This hummer was only there for five seconds when it was buzzed by its partner, then it took-off with its afterburners on.
This Short-eared Owl was alternating between hunting the open field and cruising the brushy field edges, taking advantage of the rodents displaced by the flooding in the fields.
Ryanair/Buzz Boeing 737-8 MAX 200 SP-RZR at a foggy Seville (SVQ/LEZL) January 15, 2026. Arrived from Milan-Bergamo as RYR 76.
I've been bouncing around of late in regard to my photographic interests. Birds, sunsets, macro, landscapes, and more. Truth be told, I am in a bit of a creative lull at the moment. Decided to do some macro work today, and here is a bee buzzing around a clover flower. Not sure what that thing is on its leg, although my wife said it is honey? Best viewed (L) for full detail.
Thanks for all the faves, comments, and views. Much appreciated~!
Looks like a great place to take a break and enjoy a nice chat. I think I'll park in the magenta zone...

This Devil is part of our team logo. My "team" is comprised of Wanda, Cody, Christi and myself. We have really slacked off over Winter (and Christi is hardly ever around when we go) but I try really hard to make sure everyone is included in stuff like this!
This Gator was sunning itself on a log in the Florida Everglades and took off in a huff as soon as we got close.
