Northern Hawk Owls are territorial and we were told you would likely have them buzz you once you enter there domain for the first time. This guy came to check us out and than went about it's business.

i didn't want to upload every single lightning shot i had. so... i just decided put all together in one image. this is made up of five individually exposed lightning shots and one moon shot. all the photos were taken with the same cityscape at different times during that one fatefull night.
no hdr... this was put together in photoshop. hope you likes. i think this will be the last moon shot i'll be uploading in awhile. need to get back to colors... but theres more lightning to come =)

During the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century, Poblenou was the epicenter of Catalan and Iberian industry, earning it its sobriquet of the Catalan Manchester. Surrounding the extensive cluster of factories stood mostly working class residential areas. When the industrial buzz passed, the neighborhood fell into a state of abandon and after a period of decay, the neighborhood has undergone a dramatic transformation starting with the Olympic Games in 1992.
Bart has stopped responding to my kazoo and squeaker, so I turned on my electric toothbrush and held it against the camera, making an awful buzzing sound. I pulled it away when he looked at the lens, and quickly snapped a photo. He's perched on top of my bathroom cabinet, a favorite spot.
Buzz Lightyear is a fictional character in the Disney–Pixar Toy Story franchise. He is an astronaut action figure from an in-universe media franchise. Buzz is recognizable by his lime green, purple, and white space suit.
This guy was working hard buzzing from flower to flower. He seems heavily loaded hope he made it back to the nest.
Two six-spot burnet moths jostle for the same flower.
This shot was all about balancing the shutter - fast enough to be sharp, not so fast that the wings didn't blur.

Patience is a virtue the saying goes…certainly was in this case. I had to wait for a while to capture this busy bee buzzing around lavender flowers. Worth the wait for sure…

This blue heron flew very close to me after I'd been taking pictures of its standing. They're pretty majestic when they stand, but when they take flight, they're magnificent!
Today we catch a stunning display of aeronautics as a plane is caught "Buzzing The Tower" Top-Gun style...
In retrospect the title is confusing, as I took this photo from the Willis Tower in Chicago, but you can't tell. Maybe "Buzzing Chi-Town" would be a better fit...
