Buzzer the bee found a lovely dandelion to sample the sweetness held within.

"Sweet Dandelion"
Oh' poorly weed I need,
Oh' lovely flower of mine,
Oh' dreamy nectar so devine,
Oh' sweet little dandelion.
Original poetry by; Buzzer the bee 🐝
aka: Sean
Dandelion leaves can be eaten raw or cooked.
They are full of vitamins, A, C, K, and K, also iron, calcium and potassium.
The roots can be used for tea or coffee, personally I won't be trying this.
The flowers also can be eaten raw or baked, I won't be trying that method either. 😂
No wonder the insects like these flowers, they know what's good for them. 🐝

Northern Hawk Owls are territorial and we were told you would likely have them buzz you once you enter there domain for the first time. This guy came to check us out and than went about it's business.

The five female alpacas were shorn last month, and I think they like living the shorn life. Above, Anna and Bambi approach for treats, as I've really spoiled them.
Bart has stopped responding to my kazoo and squeaker, so I turned on my electric toothbrush and held it against the camera, making an awful buzzing sound. I pulled it away when he looked at the lens, and quickly snapped a photo. He's perched on top of my bathroom cabinet, a favorite spot.
This is another view of the little blue banded bee that I uploaded yesterday. This is straight out of the camera, only cropped.
This guy was working hard buzzing from flower to flower. He seems heavily loaded hope he made it back to the nest.
Out for a hike the other day and spotted a baby racoon tail in a tree not far away. I don't see nearly as many raccoons as I did growing up in Ontario and I know they get a bad wrap but I'm intrigued by their creativity and resourcefulness they put into being such great bandits.
When I found the tail all I could see was the tail with the butt attached to it hanging out of the tree; I could also see the heavy breathing and knew this one was fast asleep. Do I wait for it to wake up? I asked myself; Do I wait for it to turn around? How long do raccoons sleep for? Comically all questions I didn't know the answer to.
I waited....time seemed to drag...still just a raccoons butt hanging out of the tree. It seemed like I was there forever.
Mother Nature intervened as you can see the bee in this photo stirred this young racoon from his slumber prompting him to turn around to see what the hassle was all about. I was lucky to capture the bee in the shot as well and all photo credits go to him.
My deepest thanks to all of you who left kind words on my photo from yesterday. I truly appreciate all of them.

A quick macro after a very insane day; it was another day where the work kept piling and it just wasn't possible to keep up, so again, one thing at a time and remain stress free.
Whatever didn't get done today will still be there when I go back on Monday.
That's right! It's my Friday, a well deserved three day weekend is coming up for me and I'm pretty happy about that!
Hope everyone has had a good day.

patience my friend and time will repay you.
just in case your wondering what that little black dot is beside me....it's a fly.
i like trying new angles, like the "place my camera on the ground angle". ohh yeah they're back...my sunglasses lol. okay. i think you can tell i was breaking a sweat here on the hot road (well you can't really tell, but i was) and it was all worth it when this random little fly came up to me and buzzed his way into my picture (okay that was kinda cheesy). i was like "holy crap, i better keep still." i didn't want to scare it away (although i only got one shot with it). i knew i just had to share this with you guys, haha.
explore #1 thank you so much guys!
