Back in the dark ages at the University of Kansas, Grace Pearson Scholarship Hall had one telephone per floor (8 or 20 residents, depending). There was also a phone room in the lobby, where someone was always on duty to answer the phone, and then "buzz" the person for whom the call was intended. Besides telephone calls, we used this system to summon each other to other floors, and to the basement for meals or hall meetings.
Of all the old junk I'm thinking about scanning/posting here, this one seemed especially appropriate to do as simply and easily as I could with my cell phone. Though I did still open up the image in Photoshop for a little cropping and brightening.
🎥 So a year ago Last January my darling wife (who was still reluctant to marry the likes of me yet..) 🎥 offered to fix up my aging ol' speedy boat.
She massaged out some scratches and "experience" marks and added an articulating swim deck, you see us on here, a speedy airfoil wing with cool GPS bits and even updated below deck.
Ol' Buzz even got updated AVsitter and custom animations!
My nephew also has quite a vast collection of Toy Story toys and this is his latest Buzz Lightyear. I am pretty envious! I want him!

Photographed some barns in Palouse shortly after sunrise. This one reminded me of that scene in Top Gun where Maverick buzzed the tower despite Goose's warnings except instead of a tower it's a barn and instead of a jet it's a turbo-prop.

Pistoeka sabotage droids, better known simply as buzz droids, were a type of insect-like automatons that were deployed in swarms during battlefleet actions by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. They could wreak havoc upon squadrons of starfighters that happened to fly through a formation of such deployed droids.

Isabella is OBSESSED with Toy Story the last few months. I'd never watched it as a kid, so I enjoy it more than I care to admit! We ventured into the toy section today and couldn't not get her a Buzz! It took her awhile to choose between Woody & Buzz, but I think we will secretly pick her a Woody up in a couple of weeks, it's worth it to see the smile on her face!
