is a fictional character appearing in the Toy Story franchise. He is a space ranger and is one of the main protagonists. He has also appeared in the movie Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins and the television series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, as well as the two film sequels. His often repeated catchphrase is "To infinity ... and beyond!" Tim Allen voiced the character in the Toy Story film trilogy and the TV movie, while Patrick Warburton provided his voice for the TV series, and Pat Fraley voiced Buzz Lightyear for the video games and the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters attraction in Disneyland.
In the theatrical films, the featured Buzz is a toy, a spaceman action figure, whereas the television properties follow the adventures of the fictional space ranger on whom the toy is modeled.

5 years on, Fleet Buzz has been brought back to life. AE51 VFV. The first, and only former Fleet Buzz vehicle to enter preservation with Southdown Preservation Group. The project has been months in the making and is a very proud moment for us! The Dart has been in hiding since it's sale in Late 2014.

Pistoeka sabotage droids, better known simply as buzz droids, were a type of insect-like automatons that were deployed in swarms during battlefleet actions by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. They could wreak havoc upon squadrons of starfighters that happened to fly through a formation of such deployed droids.
This was ordered for a little boy who just loves disneys cars and buzz so it took me a while to think of a design to put them both in but think it worked very well in the end

My sweet baby boy is turning 2 and he loves toy story. His most favorite characters are the ones here, Buzz, Zurg and the Aliens. I have to give credit for the design of the cake to donnamakescakes. I just loved her Toy Story cakes with the characters busting out of the top. First time trying that and thankfully it came out okay. A little nerve wracking cutting into the fondant on your freshly covered cake! I cannot wait to see my little boys reaction when he sees his cake this afternoon. Oh and the bottom cake is a cannoli cake and the top is chocolate with a peppermint meringue buttercream.

From the start I knew that Buzz would have to be my photo for this category. He really is loved by everyone.
When he first came to us, he was playmate to Chinook. Later he was Zephyr's companion. For Lani, he was her rock, her stability. He has been mentor and guide for Gracie, and grandfatherly for Koko. He is true friend and devoted companion for me and Tom. He has been my photographic muse. When people visit, even very tiny people such as in this photo, we never have to worry about Buzz (unlike Gracie and Koko who may be a little too enthusiastic). Everyone loves Buzz.
I knew Buzz would be my choice for this category but couldn't decide how to illustrate it. In the end, I chose this one, even though it is a less-than-high-quality iPhone picture, because it really illustrates how instantly and completely everyone is drawn to Buzz, and how gently he accepts love and gives it back.
I added the swirl from Buzz's chin to his cheeks to mimic the SAW puppet.
And, yes, that's Woody's leg.

My son's Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story that he got for Christmas. It's actually just a bubble bath, you have to pull his head off to get to the cap.

For a 2 year old birthday boy who loves Buzz Lightyear.
It's ube chiffon cake frosted and filled with creamy vanilla frosting. With edible icing image, gumpaste decorations and candle holders, and sprinkles.
(Note: For some reasons my video conversion software glitches each time I try to convert this file so the first 3 or 4 seconds are dark and then the video images come on screen.)
I have it on good authority that this bee is Leioproctus sp. female. A Flickr colleague of mine asked me to take some video recordings of this native bee while it buzzed from Drumstick flower to Drumstick flower. My little point-and-shoot digital camera is far from perfect so please excuse the amateur footage and shaky camera. This is the best footage I could get. The bees also flew in such an erratic fashion, it was very hard to predict where they would eventually settle!
The Isopogon anemonifolius flowers are on their way out now, but still attracted an impressive variety of species. I saw reed bees, lasioglossum, what I think was Homalictus and perhaps also Braunsapis sp. among others I could not identify. The bees and flowers were found late morning on a fire trail in Faulconbridge, mid-Blue Mountains, NSW.
Buzz and Woody done free-hand and painted on fondant by my daughter.
I asked Nadia to help with the painting since she always moan 'nothing to do' ... she will start her A levels only next week.
I set out the painting station with coloured pictures of Buzz & Woody, white fondant cut-outs of the two, Wilton and Americolor colour paste and color sheen, paint brushes, Americolor Gourmet Writer, kitchen towel and etc.
I also left a written instructon of which color to go where, what to do etc ...
(I am not fussy ... I just have eyes for details hehehhe)
When I was at the office she smsed "Ma, Buzz is hard to do".
So I called and guide over the phone.
2 hours later she MMSed with the first finished Woody, Buzz an hour later.
I thought these were superb considering ths is her first effort to paint on fondant.
I shall miss her help in the kitchen when she goes to college next week.
