I do not own a macro lens unfortunately, but my boyfriend stills owns an old 35-80 mm Canon lens, which I mounted on with a reversing ring. The good thing about the canon lenses is that they go to maximum aperture when they are not mounted, unlike some (all?) Nikon lenses, which just close all up. The max magnification ratio is somewhere around 1,5:1 or something; I'll have to measure this one day. the depth of field is, well, extremely limited however as expected :)

Button up shirts.

Common supermarket button mushrooms. Marinated briefly in olive oil and tamari, with a little cracked pepper and roasted until tender; then topped with a sprinkling of freshly chopped chives. Mushrooms are both photogenic, and one of my absolute favorite foods. They're a good source of potassium and some of the B vitamins.

Made for my cousins birthday. Remnants of denim and satin. Buttons I bought and pulled from stash.

Brought home the family button tin when we cleared Mum's house last year. Mr'icks wanted a button so I opened up the treasure trove, then spent ages looking at the buttons. Amazing how small circular bits of plastic and metal can bring back memories. Most of these buttons were used as tokens when we played the Little Grey Rabbit card game.

This is a grouping of similar items. Again not much to finish on these.

Here's the restored repeater, with a winter moon rising and one of the ridge peaks behind it (thank goodness we don't have to trudge up there in *this* wind).

One button, short sleeved cardigan. One pattern in a group of basic Puki patterns I will be publishing soon.

We really like using our elliptical trainer, but having the 'Reset' button right next to the "St/Stop" button just seems like a bad idea.I just hate it when I accidentally reset the machine.

Now that I'm looking at it though, I think I'll take the button off and put it back on with a different thread color.
