I think we have 3 or 4 more girls in BA dresses, but could not fit them into the photo. Been a strange day, so this photo cheered me up.
Grabbed a mushroom out of the fridge, put it on a piece of red paper and shot it using my macro lens. As it is too hot today (42C) to venture outdoors, I am getting my inspiration from inside the house.
Taken with iPhone 3GS with this home-made macro lens from a disposable camera.
Center the felt over the hole and glue it on the backside. Then clip the felt around the outer edge so you can fold it over.
Close up of a small blue bowl containing fresh button mushrooms.

Today I thought, while making photos .. Wouldn't it be nice to spot a Flickr user in the streets? How about a button which looks a bit like this, to pin on your messenger bag .. Wouldn't it be cool?
this is not hi-res, though .. could not find a high res Flickr logo to make a button graphic out of ..

I made this tote bag using some durable 100% cotton drill fabric. I have painstakingly sewn each vintage button on with my own two hands :o)
This bag is available in my mintd.com store. For more information, please see my profile.
Fairy-wrens & Scrubwrens quite often tap on my study windows, so when I heard a tapping this afternoon, initially I paid little attention. But it seemed a little louder than normal and when I glanced over my shoulder I was astounded to see the wonderful sight of a PB-q trying to get into my study, and it was no more than 1metre away from me. Not wanting to frighten it, I waited until it slowly moved away before grabbing the camera and running outside in the general direction it walked. I was lucky and got a couple of shots before it disappeared in long grass. A new sighting for the block (136) and a new species photographed for me. Thrilled.
