I bought this pin at the Smithsonian. It's from a company that makes jewelry out of vintage buttons and sewing notions.

Caption reads: Volodya Stepanow was hired by the Sons of Freedom to teach their children in their own schools in the Russian language. University educated Stephano made a valiant try, but authorities refused to recognize the schools which were set up at Krestova, Glade, Perrys and Grand Forks.

This was made from a cool tablecloth I bought at the Garnet Hill outlet store, there are little buttons sewn all along the embroidered seam between the 2 fabrics
This is what I did after participating in my graduation procession today... ripped off my damn tight shirt!
And yes... this is definitely part of my "wanker photo" set!
This is my third Archer button-up, but the first time I made it from flannel. It turned out great, although I had trouble with the buttonholes. The pattern matching wasn't too tough, I just tried to make it symmetric from side-to-side and lined up the lines at the armpit.
