Buttes aux Cailles is a former village now since incorporated into the City of Paris. It still seems like a village however as the geology makes building any modern buildings impossible (very unstable and filled with ancient mines). The ancient Bievre river (now underground) still flows through the village.

The Pawnee Buttes, located in North Eastern Colorado has served as a landmark for not only the settlers but the Native Americans for hundreds of years.
The Temple of the Sibylle. May 1th, Paris, France. The park of Buttes Chaumont opened in 1867, during the World Exposition, after four years of hard work. Situated at the Northeastern part of town, it was supposed to rival the park of Monceau on the Northwestern part of town. It was a project of Baron Haussmann, architect was Davioud, engineer Alphand. Piece de resistance is the temple of the Sibylle, placed on a high cliff in the middle of the central lake.
So, I tripped over a wall a week and a half ago....
I went to jump on this small stone wall, maybe three feet tall. I missed. Rather than slam into it, I did a half twist and tried to flip over it. Nearly made it, too.
So, instead of scraping up my legs and hands slamming into it from the fron, I got a terrifically bloody scrape on my backside where I didnt quite clear the wall. Oh, and I landed on my neck/shoulders, which started hurting the next day, but went away two days later.
No spinal injury, and what looks to be a cool scar. Oh, and the two friends who saw this couldn't stop laughing for five minutes straight. :)

This is the town of Butte, Montana, as seen from near Elk Park Pass. Butte is known as the “Richest Hill on Earth” and "The Mining City". The Butte Mining District has produced gold, silver, copper, molybdenum, manganese, and other metals.
The area's bedrock consists of the Butte Quartz Monzonite (a.k.a. Butte Pluton), which is part of the Boulder Batholith. The Butte Quartz Monzonite ("BQM") formed 76.3 million years ago, during the mid-Campanian Stage in the Late Cretaceous. BQM rocks have been intruded and altered by hydrothermal veins containing valuable metallic minerals - principally copper sulfides. The copper mineralization has been dated to 62-66 million years ago, during the latest Maastrichtian Stage (latest Cretaceous) and Danian Stage (Early Paleocene). In the supergene enrichment zone of the area, the original sulfide mineralogy has been altered.

I was born in Arkansas raised by my Grandparents in a small town. At a young age Latrice (Teecie) began to watch martial arts movie's while learning moves from Bruce Lee while watching TV. Bruce became the biggest hero to her Well until she seen Donnie Yen's first movie, then Donnie became her hero. After graduating from college in Arkansas later on in life Latrice moved to Texas she research different Martial Arts Schools.
Latrice only wanted to study martial arts from the best she studied Tae Kwon Do, from a Grand Master from Korea & Kungfu from a Sifu from China her hopes & dreams is to become a action hero & work side by side with Donnie Yen & Jet Li along with other great action hero's. Latrice is also studying Mandarin Chinese.
Latrice started her acting career in high school plays such as Show Biz & Broadway Connection & was voted the best actress in her Drama class. But her big break came when she played a juror in the action movie Stone Cold. Latrice was also a extra in three scenes from a Independent Short Film that went to Sundance Film Festival.

At this point, the Meon Valley Railway ran in from the left of the frame, crossing the plate girder bridge on the now abandoned span and running parallel to the Mid Hants Railway as far as Alton. At Alton, MVR trains ran into the bay platform now used by the preserved Mid Hants Railway.
