Dame Clara Ellen Butt DBE the world famous English contralto was born on 1st February 1872 and died on 23rd January 1936.
In the photograph / postcard above she is with her husband the baritone Kennerley Rumford and their daughter Joy.
After her marriage she was dogged by ill fortune – their eldest son Roy who was born in 1904 died of meningitis in 1923. Their youngest son Victor born in 1906 committed suicide by shooting himself in 1934 and Clara became seriously ill of cancer of the spine during the 1920’s.

Yup. This is a stretch. This is C3PO's butt. And my son noticed that my hand is reflected on his butt, as in "ewww mom, you're touching his butt".

I was going out and couldn't tell what my butt looked like in jeans so I took a picture. Flat. I used to have an ass, and then it started flattening out like my mother's. Hmmm...
Having been shaken off 3 times by the foal, the Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) re-started her run. But being so much faster than her prey, and being a little inexperienced (she was still only about a year old), she ended up smack in zebra butt. Which brought her to a stop with her tail straight - almost like a scene from a cartoon.
