Town hall with city tower

Cadastral Commune: Korneuburg. The town hall was built in the historic style and opened in 1895 solemnly. On the main front are the coats of arms of the Crown Lands above the statues of Emperor Franz Josef and Duke Albrecht I. Above the entrance with the bust of the Viennese architect Max Kropf the coats of arms of important Lower Austrian cities can be seen. On the north side of the town hall there are the coats of arms of the rulers which were particularly important for Korneuburg. The town tower dates from 1440 to 1447. Its present shape it got 1890 at the last major renovation.

Katastralgemeinde: Korneuburg. Das Rathaus wurde im historistischen Stil erbaut und 1895 feierlich eröffnet. An der Hauptfront befinden sich oberhalb der Statuen von Kaiser Franz Josef und Herzog Albrecht I. die Wappen der Kronländer. Über dem Eingang mit der Büste des Wiener Architekten Max Kropf sind die Wappen von bedeutenden niederösterreichischen Städten zu sehen. An der Nordseite des Rathauses befinden sich die Wappen der Herrscher, die für Korneuburg besondere Bedeutung hatten. Der Stadtturm stammt aus der Zeit 1440 bis 1447. Seine heutige Gestalt erhielt er 1890 bei der letzten großen Renovierung.
