This Blue Bird Bus has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind RV. Many of the vehicles found in Nelson, Nevada appear abandoned and seriously deteriorated, but this one appears to be still in use.

Some of the many Edinburgh Corporation Transport items I ended up collecting after my long association with the city and its transport system. A selection of timetable leaflets from the early to mid-1950s and showing the change to the standard larger format leaflets that came into use as major service revisions came into play as the city's tramway system was converted to motor bus operation - many existing bus services were amended as well as entire tram routes becoming new bus operated routes. This is seen in the middle pair on the lower row - the leaflet for the new bus routes the 11 and 16, the already converted bus 15 and the short lived re-routing of the 28 tram from 13 September 1956. Next to it is the new timetable for bus routes 23 and 28, starting the day after the abandonment of the corresponding tram routes 23/28 on the 16 November 1956 that marked the final end of the trams.

Small selection of KCB Network (Kelvin Central Buses), Leyland Leopard - Alexander Y-Type model buses, including a Y type conversion to a Recovery & Towing vehicle, as was common in real life with Scottish Bus Group and post-deregulation operators.

Some of the many Edinburgh Corporation Transport items I ended up collecting after my long association with the city and its transport system. These are various editions of the regularly issued booklets that detailed service, fares and other information during the 1950s. There were regular changes as these cover the relatively rapid abandonment of the city's tram system that was fianlly replaced by buses on 16 November 1956. The shift, between April and June 1957 to the new departmental 'logo' instead of the coat of arms on publications can be seen.

A very cool 1950's custom Skoolie conversion spotted while waiting for the Maritime Atlantic Ferry crossing at Port Aux Basque, Newfoundland. The owner was gracious enough to allow me to wander around and point my obnoxious camera at him for a bit.
Taken at the FMCA Rally in Gillette, Wyoming. Beautiful lines on these old bus conversions.

One other delight found in Portslade Works was this veteran that presumably was still doing a useful job in spite of having been stripped of all identification apart from the number 12. Full identification kindly provided by Nomad Roadshow.
An unknown Prevost conversion coach is seen at Thunder Bay Community Auditorium in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

My own personal time machine, a 1957 Greyhound bus on my first day of driving, headed for adventure.
Bus with a pretty impressive list of destinations!
The registration plate reads LSA 076. I think this is a BMC Falcon made by a Turkish company that at one time was a subsidiary of the UK British Motor Corporation.
I've not come across this before, so if anyone with some knowledge of the company or model of bus could add some detail for me I would be very grateful.
Photograph taken in 2012.
Taken at the FMCA Rally in Gillette, Wyoming. There were several older Flxible bus conversion RV's. Beautiful.
