These adapted buses are used by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration as mobile toilets. They are deployed at fairs, outside exhibitions and displays and more recently at political rallies and demonstrations.

The attendant remains with the vehicle for as long as it is ‘on station’ which in the case of the Bangkok civil disturbances of 2014 was quite a considerable time.
