This yachts port side bumpers not only reflect in the water bit on it's hull as well. The photo was taken at the Municipal Marina in Stuart, Florida.

It was a great year for growing huge marshmallows. The hot chocolate industry is elated.
Thanks for looking.
I suck at identifying cars sometimes. I believe this is a Plymouth? Not sure the model. At Grant Park cruise night, Winnipeg, MB. GoPro image.
Apologies to my Republican friends and family, but I just couldn't resist. I think I actually have several that fit the bill.
Mustang made entirely from vintage 1950's and 1960's chrome car bumpers. The sculpture was created by metallurgist Sean Guerrero to celebrate the Denver Broncos' 1987 Super Bowl appearance. It tips the scale at well over a ton and measures nearly 20 feet long. (The N.Y. Giants busted the Broncos 39 to 20)
Yes, that would be my car. I went to camp this afternoon with Julia to pick up Brandon. I saw him in the playground a few feet away from where I parked. I ran over to talk to him and just as I met up with him, we heard what sounded like fireworks. As we turned around to see, we watched as a huge pine tree fell and crushed my car. LOTS of damage, yet somehow drivable. I haven't stopped laughing since it happened. It's keeping me from crying. :)
(told ya my life was full of excitement!)
CA51C, a big male who likes to bump boats, hence the nickname.
We are still trying to figure out how many orca we saw today - several pods had gathered two miles off Moss Landing after a kill this morning of a Gray Whale calf. Lots of socializing by very relaxed happy orca. The carcass was almost certainly under the water - bits of food appeared on lips as they surfaced.
After many years among the cetaceans, I have come to see them as the people of the oceans; living, loving, going out to eat, playing, making friends, enjoying family and occasionally mourning. They teach their children complex behaviors, can look in a mirror and know it is themselves they are seeing; they sing, talk, blow bubbles for fun and profit and some, like the Bowhead whale, live for two hundred years, at least. Bumper is thought to be 35 - 40 years old, a mature fellow, curious and friendly. Glad he came over to say hello.

To the left is Motor Green Vehicle Recycling Centre , looking nothing like the scrapyards I can remember where you used to turn up with a tool box hoping that the yard had got the part you wanted , to get you back on the road :)

In the United States we will see 2020 everywhere on bumper stickers and yard signs because this is a big election year. They might make people smile, or they might make people mad...

Ex CPR 44-tonner #15, photographed on August 5, 1985 as Crestbrook Forest Industries #25, served as an end-of-track bumper at Canal Flats, British Columbia at the end of its career.
This five week old kitten was brought in yesterday after she had travelled more than 50 kilometres hidden in the bumper of a car. Her socks are not quite as white as they should be, but other than that she seems okay. I am calling her Bumper :-)
This year, I tried to grow potatoes on my balcony. It didn't yeald a great harvest, but these little potatoes are healthy and firm.

Fair ground in Pripyat. The town was preparing for the May day celebrations when the reactor exploded.
Photographs from my trip to Chernobyl Nuclear power plant and the near by city of Pripyat. August 2010. The Chernobyl disaster occurred on 26 April 1986. It is considered the worst nuclear power plant accident in history, and is one of only two classified as a level 7 event on the International Nuclear Event Scale. The near by city of Pripyat was abandoned in the days following the Chernobyl disaster.

Collection of Bumper Cars in storage. This was an interesting day that I will never forget. As we were shooting, I heard someone behind us say "are you getting good pictures?"... THE OWNERS! Well, needless to say, they were not the happiest, the police were called and the owner and I struck up conversation and luckily she had a similar appreciation for the decayed! They are a terrific group of people
