- Hey, little girl! What are you doing here. This isn't a place for you.

- Why? I travelled a lot to get here.

- Don't you know that Mother Nature is very angry with humans?

- I know and that's why I'm here. I want to talk to her.

- No way. Every plant around you is a weapon. And if you walk ahead, that plant with poisoned bullets may hurt you or kill you.

- I don't care. I want to see her. There are humans in this planet that still care about nature. It's our last chance to survive.

- I wish I could help you! Good luck girl!

- Thank you! You are a very kind tree. Why are you helping me? Aren't you a weapon?

According to the sign, it is unrestored and this is the original paint.

Bullet ants (Paraponera clavata, Hymenoptera, Formicidae). Collection specimens (Ecuador, Coca, 2014).

Studio work with dried specimens (rehydrated and staged). Focus bracketing, 87 images, assembled in Zerene Stacker (Pmax & Dmap). Canon EOS M6 mark II, EF 100mm macro 1:2.8L IS USM; ISO-100, f/5, 0.5sec, -1 step, natural diffused light.

These bullet trains or in Japanese, "Shinkansen" go about 320 km/hr (200 miles/hr) but are smooth as butter and very quiet and relaxing. They have lots of leg room and you can eat your bento or drink a beer if you wish. But, they're not cheap.

Taken in 2017 when I was privileged enough to tour China for 3 weeks, at the time we all joked that Wuhan (Population at that time 14 million) was the largest city in the world that no one had ever heard of. Now, of course, it's very famous but for all the wrong reasons.

Day 32 - I wanted to test out how good my 55-200mm lens would blow out the background when shootin it wide open. I also wanted an interesting foreground subject, and different sized bullets seemed like a good idea.

HCS, folks!

My version of the concept that we used for the workshop in Singapore organised by David Wirawan. I decided to use a background that I shot already a few weeks before, that was originally ment to be for this concept. The photos of the models are shot by Geoff Ang, during the workshop. Because we had a different background during the workshop the models are not perfectly lighten for this photo, but still it all works pretty well

This one's fun to view large.

Some of you might know that the lipstick itself is called a "bullet", hence my title. ;-)

F-15C Eagle 84-0027 overshoots RAF Lakenheath. The LN tail code and 493rd FS squadron markings are no longer on the aircraft as the Grim Reapers wind down their F-15C operations in the winter of 2021/22. The squadron will convert to the F-35A.

84-0027 is credited with two air to air kills; one Mirage F.1 and one Mig-23 during operation Desert Storm, while assigned to the 53rd Tactical Fighter Squadron, 36th Tactical Fighter Wing, based at Bitburg in Germany.

Photos inside and around a sadly neglected QR 2000 class "Silver Bullet" railmotor, built in 1970/71. I can find evidence of this now marooned train running in 2003, but I doubt it will ever run again.
