This is a multiple exposure piece taken from MOMA. In one exposure, there is a room filled with bullet balloons, symbolizing a brief relief of pain. These balloons float around and linger. Sometimes, they know you are calling their name. Other times, they are stand offish and stay by themselves in the corner. As in the case of the art by Félix González-Torres, the installation is interactive and the second exposure features a photographer who had his lens pointed in my direction holding a Magic Bullet. This piece is by General Idea, a Canadian art collective. Two of the artists died of AIDS in 1994. Such a sadness.

Northern hawk owl in flight

These owl do not fly like a typical owl their flight is not completely silent there more falcon like they compare their hunting to a coopers hawk they have the same long tail

they also do not have asymmetric hearing like most owl but they still have great hearing able to find a vole 12 inches under snow with pin point accuracy

Their eyes are binocular vision able too find prey at great distances These owls are typically 14 to 16 inches tall

A typical owl could read a book from the far goal post to the other goal post on a football field with the light of a candle these guys are more daytime hunters more hawk like hence the name given too them

Vlaamse Gaai - Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius).

Not the best in the series perhaps (check 2nd comment), but anyone familiar with woodpeckers and jays in flight will immediately recognize the torpedo-like shape in which these birds fly.

Unlike most other birds, they only beat their wings intermittently, gliding throught the air - spending well over half their flight time in this pose.

Probably a property that comes in handy in their usual forest habitat. (-;

In 2016 i was in Iceland and i made a photo of this car (together with a lot of sheepbones) in a somewhat lurid and desolate area some kilometers from road 1. Thanks to the characteristics of the mountains, the waterfall and the two farms in the background on the photo I was able to find out where this place was by using streetview from Google Maps. Next month I’m going to Iceland again and I wonder if this car is still there
