My son's hat. He came for dinner tonight, right after he finished work for the day. He's a concrete worker, so he was just a wee bit dirty.
Well the MKIII Pan and Tilt head is the best build to date.. easily the best trip/heda combo I've had to date .. very stable and fast to adjust.

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to get out and shoot a car for the first time in a long time. I met up with a friend who has an absolutely beautiful Scirocco he has painstakingly rebuilt on his own over the past few years. He has done so much to this car, everywhere you look there are little details that were cleaned, painted/chromed/powdercoated/etc, there was very little left untouched. Stay tuned for more of this shoot in the next few weeks.

The "Garage Jobs" bagged mk1 at Dubs on Defrost last month. I never get tired of seeing this beautiful car.

Custom Rat Rod built by John Shope at Dirty Bird Concepts.
Shot in John's shop I underexposed the ambient pretty much just letting the neon lights show up. There is an SB-26 camera left firing at the door and 3 Yongnuo manual flashes--one behind the car camera left, another in front of the car camera left and right, all bare. There is an Alien Bee, 1600 firing at the back of the white garage door behind the camera for some fill. Triggered with a Yongnuo commander that controls the Yongnuo speedlights, and the SB was triggered by the other flashes. A Yongnuo 103 which can be triggered by the commander was used on the AB. OK, so Volvos are an unlikely car for the modified market but here's another shot of the Yellow Peril, built by my friend Russ at RT Mechanics.
What started life as a standard T5-R has had its power output more than doubled to 500+ bhp with everything upgraded to keep it shiny side up.
Image info: CLS-triggered SB-800 positioned by VAL used around the car to lift some of the shadows.

The winner of "best in show" and my favorite of the day, an absolutely beautiful mk1 on bags with a 24v VR6 in a shaved bay. The paint looked like it was dripping wet and the work inside and out was just amazing. The owner did the work himself and deserves all the credit and attention he got.
