Inspired by real Japanese drift missiles, this S13 was built to slide, not shine 😎
Mismatched panels, exposed intercooler, roll cage and a rough street look — all made from LEGO bricks!
It’s a tribute to grassroots drift culture, where every dent has a story and every slide is pure fun 🔧💨
🔧 Specs:
– Base: Nissan S13
– Scale: LEGO Speed Champions
– Style: Drift Missile / Garage-built
– Features: detailed interior, exposed turbo setup, raw drift attitude
I took a lot of inspiration from the S13 shape done by rebrickable.com/users/CustomCreationsYT/mocs/; however, the building techniques are different, and my model doesn't have gaps nor studs besides the ones that hold the mirrors

My son's hat. He came for dinner tonight, right after he finished work for the day. He's a concrete worker, so he was just a wee bit dirty.
Set opener for Russ's insane "Yellow Peril" Volvo T5-R. Built not bought, good for 500+ bhp.
More to follow but in the meantime hit "L" for optimum viewing.

An eye catching bike in the paddock of Classic Bike Festival Ireland 2025. I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner, great clothes peg.
Well the MKIII Pan and Tilt head is the best build to date.. easily the best trip/heda combo I've had to date .. very stable and fast to adjust.

Larry is making five 650 Triumph Twin engines all machined from solid, with a 270deg. crank..

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to get out and shoot a car for the first time in a long time. I met up with a friend who has an absolutely beautiful Scirocco he has painstakingly rebuilt on his own over the past few years. He has done so much to this car, everywhere you look there are little details that were cleaned, painted/chromed/powdercoated/etc, there was very little left untouched. Stay tuned for more of this shoot in the next few weeks.

The "Garage Jobs" bagged mk1 at Dubs on Defrost last month. I never get tired of seeing this beautiful car.

Satlink liveried air braked ODA wagon nearing completion.
ODA's were originally vacuum braked, and were converted to air brake when it was realised that a Short Wheelbase open wagon was required to accompany VEA vans for sites with sharp curves, in particular MOD sites.
Following MOD use, the majority were taken into civil engineers use.
They lasted in service until 2004, with several examples being painted into EWS red an maroon. I believe one was located at Stafford until about 2011.

Development notes:
First attempt at developing C-41 at home. Unicolor Powder C-41 kit. Used a sous vide cooker to maintain constant 102°F. 3.5 minutes with four inversions every four seconds.
OK, so Volvos are an unlikely car for the modified market but here's another shot of the Yellow Peril, built by my friend Russ at RT Mechanics.
What started life as a standard T5-R has had its power output more than doubled to 500+ bhp with everything upgraded to keep it shiny side up.

The winner of "best in show" and my favorite of the day, an absolutely beautiful mk1 on bags with a 24v VR6 in a shaved bay. The paint looked like it was dripping wet and the work inside and out was just amazing. The owner did the work himself and deserves all the credit and attention he got.
