Everyone did their bit. It made the whole job a lot easier.
The 8 meter high World Peace Stupa (kalachakra Stupa) has been built by the Gyuto Monks of Tibet plus local contracters under control of building designer and project manager Alok Eggeuberger. It has been built with traditional design and high tech glass reinforced concrete, to serve as a time capsule to last at least 1000 years.
Before the top was lowered on and the stupa sealed it had to be filled with relics and a variety of written prayers and other goods, blessed by the Dalai Lama. We had to carry it all to the stupa. People from all walks of life chipped in, elderly, children. We formed a human chain to carry the goods up the scaffolding where the monks lowered all into the Stupa.
A very special day.
This was taken inside the Lighthouse Gallery just off Buchanan Street, Glasgow. It's a fantastic gallery full of exhibitions and museum pieces, with a room devoted to the building designer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
This was a wall of competition entries in an architectural art competition. I loved the pattern produced by it so wanted to show this.
At the top of the frame the bottoms of entries are visible and at the bottom some more hooks are visible. This is obviously to try and prolong the pattern off the frame.
The 'Winner' is also put at the edge of frame to make the image a bit more interesting.

The Coulter House in the Bankers Hill area of San Diego is one of the finest remaining examples of the residential work of architect Carleton Monroe Winslow Sr. in the city. The two-story residence was built in the Spanish Colonial Revival style in 1915 for Lucy Coulter, widow of Midwest businessman John Payer Coulter. Winslow had become a major proponent of the style while working for Cram, Goodhue and Ferguson as the lead building designer for the Panama-California Exposition. The Coulters, mother and daughters, were prominent in cultural and social circles and traveled world-wide. They are reputed to have been the first white women to visit the Orient. Winslow moved to Los Angeles in 1917 and, while still associated with Cram, Goodhue and Ferguson, was largely responsible for the design of the Los Angeles Public Library on Goodhue’s untimely death. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
