I hiked around Monticello looking for a natural spring and ruins from the past.
This historic area is also where Indian Agent John Philip Clum arrested Geronimo and his band of Apaches over 125 years ago, in April 1874.
Not too bad according they was taken with a broken camera so everything was guess work as I couldn't see the photo I was taking or the camera settings

Maya city of Chichen Itza. This was the huge water hole known as a cenoté where indians use to commit suicide by jumping in and sometimes they use to throw young woman in the cenoté as a sacrifice to the Gods.
In the wells around Chichén Itzá have been found scores of skeletons. Mayan petroglyphs depict human sacrifices at these sites. What lies under this Cenoté is not known, no one has ever been able to reach it's depths.
This was a trash can in the middle of the desert near cabeson. This was taken on a ride to Cabezon, New Mexico.
