Anyone helping with the name of this guy?

Spider walking on the wet web carrying a few droplets.

Tiny Fly vs Owlfly (Full Size comparison... its not even a comparison :) )

Macro Panorama of 3 shots

Single view of it won't do justice to its mimicry... hence doing a collage this time.

After many failed attempts at self-3580macro, had to enlist the help of my fellow comrade.

This was one of those super skinny legged spiders, big in size if you consider the length of the legs but small if you consider how the look (barely visible because they're so skinny). He was hanging upside down in our dining room & fairly tame so I decided to try and be brave and use my 3580macro on him :) I tried to get closer (this is at 35mm) but his webs were in the way and he'd keep jumping and then I'd keep jumping back so I decided to give up hah :D

Damselfly eating some unknown bug.

Spider with couple of spiders in its mouth.. no wonder I love spiders

Monetizing history.

Introducing an interesting concept of "Macro-Panorama". You may have heard / seen Macro Stacking, but this is a bit different. You still take many photos, but the intent is to capture more of the insect with each shot (compared to more details of same area in case of stacking).

it took 6 shots to get to this beautiful Owlfly.

Owlflies are dragonfly-like insects with large bulging eyes and strongly knobbed antennae.

super cute.. for a change in natural light.

Had never seen pink and orange colors on Lynx Spider

My DIY 4X life-size macro lens made from an old 35mm bellows and 70mm enlarger lens.

Around 4-5 mm in length.

Weevil is one of the largest families with Over 60,000 species.. Don't know exactly which one is this out of the 60K :)

Mecoptera: check the sting like tail under the wings, giving this insect family the name of scorpions.

Trying something different... trying to do as much natural light macro as feasible/possible.

50mm 1.8 plus auto focus extension tubes. This one at f/6.3

Any suggestions / comments?

A weevil is a type of beetle from the Curculionoidea superfamily. They are usually small, less than 6 mm (0.24 in), and herbivorous.

This particular one was around 3-4 mm in length. Had to use my max magnification (fully stretched bellows + 50mm manual lens).

So much beauty is hidden in nature, almost invisible to normal eye.

Tiny Fly vs Owlfly

This one is a clue up.. full picture revealing complete relative size of the two coming up next.

Flower macro at ARAI with Canon 550D + Bellows + 50mm manual lens.

Light: camera mounted digitek + fotodiox diffuser

just held an old leaf (instead of normal black background).. i guess it makes things slightly more interesting...

Note to Macro Enthusiasts: It's a challenge to hold the camera with one hand and hold the leaf with other hand and still being able to get end-end focus on the tiny subject at almost 1:3 magnification.

Gokarna Flower (Clitoria Ternatea)

Quite interesting that it has medicinal uses and also consumed as tea... next time need to collect some of these for tea :)
