Buborék (Bubble in english) sprinting back to the lake. A hungarian vizsla can't get wet enough in such a nice weather.
Bubble skirt made out of cotton layer under and tulle outer, Following Aida's tutorial for Project Run and Play. Worked great.
I made a couple changes to her tutorial:
1. made it into a skirt, not a dress. Fits my petite 20 month old daughter.
2. When connecting the two layers on the bottom, I encased the raw edges in some blue bias binding and then sewed that down to the under-layer, so I was left with a nice trim at the bottom.
Batwing top made out of some mystery knit fabric bought at the thrift store. I took one of her oensies, traced that onto the fabric and added the bat-wings and it worked great. It fits her, and it looks great with pants also. The fabric is veeeeeeery stretchy, so my top-stitching stretched the hem a little bit.
Also I made her a little infinity scarf out of the lining fabric. It is the cutest little scarf.
Bubble Bobble birthday cake, based on the old video game.
Chocolate mud cake, chocolate ganache and decorated with fondant.
Soap bubble. Turned off the autofocus, set focus to 3 feet, set the exposure, then chased bubbles around my back yard for a half an hour. None of them were really in focus, but some came close.
For a few weekends this season, we had the most exquisite bubble-maker ever. Susan of Rainbow Bubbles. She had buckets sitting out with her bubble-wands and bubbles for anyone to come up and use. And in this case, one of the villains from the fight cast stood on the platform nearby and played with bubbles till closing. These shots are from that session at the end of the day, with the setting sun behind him.
It was anchors away for the first annual Bubbler Regatta at Hawthorne Library! Kiddos created their own mini vessels from recycled materials, tested their seaworthiness, and raced against their friends down our raingutter course.
This was part of the "Arts in the Alley" series located behind the Hawthorne Library in Mural Alley on July 9, 2019.

A scene from the command centre of a Cylon Basestar? Not quite. It's an eye-catching display at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, Ontario, featuring several tubes of water with air bubbles migrating slowly up to the ceiling.
Incidentally, BSG fans should understand the reference. For those that don't watch the show... well, what's your excuse? ;)
Bubbles on a plate while doing the dishes... and a bit of photoshop of course...

It is 97 degrees F, with 90+ percent relative humidity, and a very slight breeze. However, these are ideal bubble conditions, and here we see several bubbles drifting on that little breeze.
Scavenge Challenge July #24) If you could make one wish for the world, what would it be? Capture the feeling! No, not the heat and humidity of the day, the lightness and unrestrained cheer of the bubbles. If I could make one wish for the world it would be that we all have a few moments of untroubled beauty and grace.
(And, I was looking for an excuse to post this picture because I had so much fun taking it.)
