Bubble Chair inspired by Eero Aarnio 1968
The Bubble Chair is based on the unique design of the Ball Chair originally created by Eero Aarnio in 1968. The concept behind the Bubble Chair was “less is more” and that is exactly what the Bubble Chair has come to represent. The Bubble Chair features a very minimalistic yet extremely unique design not found in any other modern furniture. Also referred to as Hanging Bubble Chair, or Hanging Ball Chair, it has become an iconic modern piece. The transparent Ball Chair creates a room within a room. Sit inside the Bubble Chair and create your own world without the noise and distractions of the outside world. The Bubble Chair is great for many activities including reading, writing, talking on the phone, or just relaxing. It creates an environment of pleasant isolation even in a crowded, loud area. The Bubble Chair brings together the best of all worlds since its fun, and modern, and yet so comfortable.

Day 85
Arctic Monkeys - Brainstorm
My rules for this 365 day project:
1) always copy this caption as a reminder
2) only use photos taken that day
3) add these just to the 365 project group
4) I will delete all comments that have group invitations / unnecessary icons in them
5) I should learn something new every day
6) no re-takes of photographs from a previous day
7) each photo is meant to say something about me
8) pick a song for the day to go along with the mood of the picture
9) 3 tags describing what is in the shot so people can find it if relevant
10) give it a meaningful title
What I learned: Working with someone to blow the bubbles for me was tough since he kept moving the bubbles... and I had to use manual focus since there was so much movement and it kept focusing on the grass. Agh, this wasn't as fun to shoot as I thought, but blowing bubbles was :)
Ok, after trying to be creative by whipping egg whites, adding food coloring to soapy water, boiling water in a pan...my best shot was when I was cleaning up my messes in the kitchen sink.
When my wife took our cat , Bubbles , to the vet the other week she told the vet that somebody had suggested that Bubbles was fat .
" He's not fat , Mrs Gould , he's obese ! " was the reply ....... No nibbles for you then my lad .

Taken on a dive in the Red Sea, you can see some folks snorkling while my air bubbles are nicely arranged on the side.

There were two groups of clowns at the Heart-walk. one group had wand/solution combination that made bubbles that were about 10 inches across, and very colorful (as seen here). The other group made bubbles that were about 14 inches across, but not very colorful. You can't really see the differences so much in person, but in the photographs, the differences are huge.
It was overcast this afternoon with almost a misty rain when we went into the garden with the cameras.
I managed to photograph some of the teeny flies (2-3mm) blowing bubbles.
How do you like the reflections in the bubbles?

(2019) Bubbles and Butterfly
Here's an illustrated tribute to American artist Robert Vickrey (Aug 26, 1926 – Apr 17, 2011). He specialized in painting surreal dreamlike visions under soft light and silhouettes, via the ancient medium of egg tempera.

Taken using my neice Dora bubble blower - slightly adjusted to get a blue cast as it was taken with a plain white celing which was a bit dull
I had to crop a lot of what would have been a great shot - someone kept getting in the way and I was quite far away so couldn't do much about it.
