i love these ladies. korbin and tori had me shoot some grad party pictures. the bubbles tori brought ended up being pretty awesome. i'm making a stop motion of today, so i'll upload that when it's done along with another photo or two.

Tiny flies were flying over a small, shallow, running stream down the side of a Granite rock in the Jarrah Forrest South of Perth. The water was running underneath but not on top. The flies sat on the water near bubbles on the water.

A leech swam over to one fly and touched its leg then swam away. The fly wiped the leg that the leech touched, on its abdomen.

Note the enlargement on the front legs of this fly.

I came up with the thought to do iridescent soap bubbles for a prompt in Wombo and just see where the AI took it. I changes other prompts along the way and ended up with some incredibly beautiful images.

After I took the photo I noticed the reflection of my brother in some of the bubbles. Thought it was pretty cool.

52 weeks: 2013 edition

I loved this weeks theme! I bought this little 'fairy tree' recently, and I even managed to find a 'bubble fairy' willing to participate in the project.
